The inaugural WoW Leadership Symposium is for Woodruff School students. By completing all four sessions during the symposium, students will earn the WoW Leadership Certification from the Woodruff School. The criteria for the WoW Leadership Certification can be viewed here:

Women of Woodruff through the WoW Leadership Symposium is spotlighting female leaders in industry who will lead the sessions for the symposium. The sessions will focus on career readiness, strategic networking, and effective leadership.
The WoW Leadership Symposium is open to both undergraduate students and graduate students. The event attendance is capped at 70 attendees. Attire for the symposium is business casual. Lunch will be provided.

Lindsey Fox
Director, Restaurant Financial Data & Systems

As a 2007 Georgia Tech Mechanical Engineer turned analytics leader, Lindsey Fox currently serves as Director, Restaurant Financial Data & Systems at Chick-fil-A, Inc. She started off her career in HVAC design with Newcomb & Boyd, after co-oping with them during college. While at Newcomb & Boyd, she obtained her Professional Engineering license and worked on a variety of designs, including LEED certified buildings. During her 11.5 years at Chick-fil-A, she’s held multiple different roles including project manager, analyst and now leads a team of analysts in financial services department. Lindsey is also a registered Project Management Professional (PMP) and truly loves collaborating and solving problems.
On the personal side, she met her spouse, Brian (ISyE 2007), at Georgia Tech, and they have 3 adopted boys. They enjoy traveling, kids activities, involvement in their local church and volunteering with a non-profit called Hope2Africa.
Amy Price
Team Lead and Portfolio Evangelist for Product Marketing in the Client Solutions Group
Dell Technologies
Amy Price is Team Lead and Portfolio Evangelist for Product Marketing in the Client Solutions Group at Dell Technologies, with responsibility for portfolio positioning and messaging around cybersecurity and end point management. In her work, she bridges technical and product marketing, messaging, sales enablement and PR/AR with a healthy dose of creativity to position and tell the most effective stories to advance these solutions.
She has held leadership positions in product and partner marketing organizations as well as product management in companies which include Dell, Nutanix, Verigy (Advantest) and Schlumberger. Her experience bridges numerous industries including utility and energy/oil & gas, software development and data storage and archiving. She has a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Masters in Science and Technology Commercialization from the McCombs School of Business at UT Austin. Outside of work, you can find her at music festivals and live events, photographing and writing for a variety of national publications and for SXSW as well as syndicating through Getty Images.
Brian Rusch
Head of Research and Development for Siemens Electrical Products

Brian Rusch is the Head of Research and Development for Siemens Electrical Products in the USA based in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. His teams develop a wide range of electrical products for residential, commercial, and industrial applications and require disciplines in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering. Brian joined Siemens right out of college in Siemens’ engineering development program. He has been with Siemens for 28 years. Most of that time has been spent in product development, but also includes a three-year assignment in Mexico as part of a startup of a new manufacturing plant.
Brian has a passion for driving impact to the business through the development of new products and technologies. Whether the goal is to reduce cost, be first to market, have best in class features, or to ensure the most sustainable and reliable supply chain, product development is a key lever for success. Brian believes in the value of leveraging core competencies, which includes a strong design for manufacturing approach. But above all, as we develop safety products, he believes integrity and performance must never be compromised.
As a leader, Brian enjoys empowering teams to own their work and perform at their best, recognizing that differences in approach is a source of strength. He recognizes that technical competence is a must, but creativity and passion are the traits that separate us from our competition.
A native of Woodstock, Georgia, he holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University. Brian is an avid sports fan (especially college football – Go Jackets! – and all levels of baseball – Go Braves!). He plays golf most weekends and enjoys competing in an old man baseball league in the summer. He currently lives in Duluth, GA.
James Washburn
Vice President and Segment Head of Circuit Protection & Controls

Washburn is the Vice President and Segment Head of Circuit Protection & Controls for Siemens USA (based in Peachtree Corners, Georgia). He is responsible for a business servicing $650M+ of electrical power products annually, focusing on commercial & industrial buildings and control of industrial processes. James has been with Siemens for 19 years, serving in roles in Factory Operations, Strategy and Product Management in both the US and Mexico. James has a passion for new product development and application of new material and manufacturing techniques. Prior to joining Siemens, James worked in recreational equipment sales and hospitality. He sits on the Advisory Boards for Paul Duke STEM High School CTE Program and Atlanta Technical College Electrical Program, and is frequent guest lecturer at Georgia Tech.
As a leader James, is committed to building the strongest teams, based on a diversity of skills, functional expertise, personality styles, and personal backgrounds. He is passionate about mentoring, employee & organizational development, employee health and safety and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).
A native of Decatur, Georgia, James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and Masters in Business Administration from Georgia State University. James is an accomplished (but slow) endurance athlete with multiple marathons and an Ironman triathlon on his resume. He enjoys cycling, running, hiking, fishing, woodworking and volunteering as a certified youth cycling coach. James lives in Buford, Georgia with his wife, Rachel, their 4 daughters and two mischievous dogs.
